Seyoum is the founding Executive Director of the Irob Advocacy Association (IAA), based in Addis Ababa. Tesfay is Vice Chair of the IAA Board and a longtime leader in Irob community development. He has played a central role in advancing key initiatives, including founding the Irob Development Association (IDA). With his education and professional experience in environmental and geoinformation sciences, he manages the IAA website and leads project proposal development. Tesfay’s deep commitment to advocacy and service makes him a driving force in the organization’s mission.
Ghirmay Ghezahagn is a data management specialist at American University and a passionate advocate for human rights in Ethiopia. As Secretary of the IAA Board, he pairs strategic leadership with meticulous organization to advance transparency and mission-driven action. A sharp critic of injustice, Ghirmay is a compelling voice in civic discourse, using analysis and advocacy to connect communities—especially Irob youth—with the tools to shape a more just and inclusive future.
